Hey, guess what! I have now posted 1000 pictures/stories/pieces of art on FA. Honestly that's kind of amazing to me -- that's a lot of art to have created over the last few years. Something like one piece of art every 2.6 days! I've improved a lot over that time, and my wife Krys wanted to help me celebrate!
It's possibly you may have noticed that I haven't been very active lately. I've had a very, very busy time at work lately due to an emergency that came up, and have been working weekends and long hours. Now that my schedule is getting back to normal I hope to do more art, though I'm not going to do Voretober this year -- I just don't have the energy for it.
I did an experiment with this piece, too! For various reasons I gave Krita a try. I wanted to use the basic pen tool, so I ended up with very messy lines. But I'm pretty pleased with the overall result, and I'm very happy with the Colorize Mask tool, so I may continue trying Krita for a bit instead of Clip Studio and see how it works for me.
