Wanted to re-work one of my very first furry OCs but I can't settle on a hair colour.

Same colour as the main fur colour was part of the original design, which I changed it to darker in her latest design update, but lighter hair is also cute...

Though I could also just say she bleaches/dyes her hair and change it depending on how I feel about it 🤔

They're all really cute, but I'm rather partial to the light hair. It feels like it adds a bit of balance, color-wise, to her head and upper body. But you're absolutely right that she can color/bleach her hair, letting you play with multiple choices as you will.

Her outfit and big, curly tail are adorable, too, and I love the sweatband around her head. I've always really liked the sporty look on girls, even though that's a world I never dabble in myself.

I like the middle version best. The left one doesn’t give sufficient contrast to her fur color. The blonde look does work well, but against her other colors does look like she bleaches it, to get that color.

As a girl who in real life changes her hair color a lot, I say there is nothing wrong with using both the middle and right versions, at different times of year. Remember that in Summer, someone who gets a lot of sun exposure will see their hair get lighter on its own. My normal color is a rich auburn brown. But by the end of Summer, I might look almost like a redhead!
