Sonic tries to outrun Dr. Robotnik, but finds himself in a rather precarious situation. Somehow, the evil egghead is able to keep up with the young hedgehog's speed, which no one has ever been able to do. They race through the city of San Francisco, Sonic using rings to try evade capture. How will he make it out of this? Did the Blue Blur have a chance of surviving, or will Robotnik get to experiment on him after all?
