Our man JC, aka, Big J, aka, Yeshua Hasmiach of Nazareth.
I've been doing a lot of Bible drawings recently, so I figured why not draw the big man himself?~
Before this, I had a chat with my dear friend and meeting with my fellow Christian neighbor. They both said to me that while they both believe the Shroud of Turin is His true face, they also stressed to me that Jesus was a Galilean Jew who had darker skin and darker hair. And His disciples looked like Him, as the Jewish Priest's soldiers couldn't tell them apart until Judas revealed who Jesus was with a kiss (seriously, fuck that asshole, I don't feel bad for him one bit after he betrayed Him)
And they also said it was Jewish law that a man must not have long hair, but from how I interpreted, long and flowing hair that looks feminine would've been unacceptable for a Jewish man. So, I decided to compromise by giving Jesus shoulder-length, masculine hair, as He was known as the Lion of Judea.
As much as I love Jesus with hazel eyes, Galilean Jews had brown eyes, so I had to give Him some Lol
And no, He was not black, He was as Middle Eastern as they come, but besides that, I'm happy as heck to see this done~
