The fangame Sonic Omens is not only a bad Sonic Fangame, but it is one of the most tyrhard and laughably bad games ever made.
The voice acting's bad, the direction is all over the place to non-existent, the level design is dreadful and takes way too long, and the story somehow ties to Sonic X of all things??? Yeah, I don't get it either.
It certainly doesn't help that the creators are salty little bitches that can't take criticism worth shit. And, they're generally horrible people that drove one of their own voice actors to a mental breakdown.
The guy who voiced Dr. Eggman in this fangame played it on stream and it was awful. It certainly doesn't help that the creators laughed at his pain and how shit the game was.
never heard much about sonic omens reallt. but with all the controversy i heard about the game, it makes me glad i never hear or played it (not like i can if i could with my shittty laptop)
only problem with the doc i have is the maria Part. like....why does that part exists? especially over a small thing that many wont even notice when they play that level. feels dumb imo,

It really is sad that that for such a highly anticipated original fan made sonic game, it became one of the worst if not the worst Sonic fan made game ever created and the people behind it's creation besides one of the voice actors are just as bad if not even worse than the game itself.
From the previously mention by you that the creator of the game drove one of their voice actors for the game into a full blown mental breakdown, the creators mocking and laughing at their Eggman's voice actor as he played the game in sheer anguish due to how horrible the game is, attacking anyone who even dares criticized them and their game and not dick riding them while sucking em off like the Sonic Show starring that fucking raccoon, and the the creme de le creme', the pièce de ré·sis·tance; one of the creators being outted not just from the group itself and the game but from entire community due to allegations of being a pedo due to the one of the Maria Robotnik's model with her underwear labeled as bad girl on the model. It's stupid on its own but the fact it's even there to begin with, if true, then it just makes this entire controversy even more insane besides the horribleness of the game itself.
This also sets a a couple of precedents too, the first being that it's already bad enough that there are horrible official sonic games out there with sonic 06 (despite being my favorite sonic game), is deemed by many the worst Sonic game ever made until, in my opinion, Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric blew it out of the water, who's to say that there are even sonic fan made games out there that are just as bad? The second precedent being that it just further proves one simple point; it's not that sonic games are bad to begin with. If developed, designed and executed well by a more proficient development team and not using underhanded and insane business practices and decisios, the games, both fan made and official, would have been great and if not the best games ever made but the problem is that the games were being made and own by egotistical and idiotic douchebags. Sonic has never been bad to begin with and never has been, it's just that people either doesn't understand Sonic and it's fanbase/community, and/or even if they donunderstand they simply made these games to mock and spite us. It's fucking insane...

Took the words out of my mouth. These people didn't make this into a passion project or for the fans. They wanted profit and to lure on some gullible suckers desperate for a good Sonic game. As problematic as the other Sonic games were, they at least had some effort despite the flawed execution. This didn't.
So... it's set in the games, but has Sonic X mixed in? Why was Chris Thorndyke here? Why was the Meterax here? Why does Shadow get fooled yet again at the prospect of his memories and Maria? This game is soulless and directionless. People need to carefully look at these kinds of things and realize: "Wow. This is fucking shit."
And it just royally pisses me off. This is on "Hunt Down the Freeman" levels of bad fangames.

Exactly, it just further goes to show that these people don't care about the game nor it's fanbase. It makes Hunt down the Freeman look and play like a master piece of a game and winning the PC game of the year award...that sounded worst than it did and in my head.
