He is the result of an "unplanned pregnancy". His mom gave birth to him when she was 15.
Shane has never met his father but resents him greatly. Goes through life with a chip on his shoulder and has spent more than a few hours in detention halls. Quick to anger. He found some measure of discipline when was sent to hockey camp and became fast friends with Ken Walsh.
Now that he and his friends are hitting puberty he has become that aware that his mother quite attractive and his much more concerned that his guy friends are starting to regard her as "milf"
