Baby Casey's backstory? Well, we know he's Cassandra's son so my mind instantly thought: Cassandra has visit turtles often with baby Casey until Kraangs attacked. In a fight Cassandra gets wounded deadly, asking Leonardo to take Casey and raise him. So maybe this moment is from one of the visits since I didn't draw turtle boys look "old enough" so that they would had adopted Casey just yet.
But funny thing is that today I came across with the art where this artist HAD draw Cassandra dying, asking Leo to take care of Casey! I was SO thrilled! :D
