His powers were given to him by a time traveling D about 3000 years before Luz first came to the boiling isles. Once a hero now villain he casts curses just for fun, but thirsts for a worthy opponent
His power exists in two forms, magic and gravity. even though he cant use magic in gravity form he's much stronger and still immune to all magic. He lifts upo the entire boiling isles into the sky (after its evacutaed) to challenge Chuck (who at this point is cursed with bad luck and a tatoo that when gone kills him instantly)
Upon his death all curses he's created are lifted from victims
