it is "VUK" though in America it was re released in 1987 under the Name "The little Fox" I don't know about the Original Print but the American one has Fallen in to the Public Domain because the Company that Released it in America has been Defunct for 20 plus Years. and has Been Forgotten About.

Well, that depends on what we mean by badly edited. The studio that created it, had a unique, sometimes sketchy style. It also was made on Hungarian budget, so it wasn't up to say, Disney standards of that time.
That said, it was a Hungarian cartoon, so it was a bit more graphic here and there. So maybe they edited parts out, such as when the foxes were shown with hunted prey.
Last time I saw it, it didn't look like a poor quality cartoon, though.

I thought the Strange editing Choices gave it added Character. it's also a good Point to bring up that this was also The last film John Belushi did before he Died. in 1982. and it has cute Lovable Foxes and References to incest. Whats not to Love.
