Gabriel belongs to a species of animal called the Cyolox that went endangered a long time ago due to a plague in their island of origin. To this day only seventeen of them were confirmed to exist and only because one left the island before the outbreak. Cyolox are a single-gender race of males who could become pregnant with both themselves and any other (anthro) species, making re-population a lot easier for them
