Character Sheet for Yang
Character Description
Height: 3' 1"
Weight: 65 lbs.
A second cousin of Ray, Yang seeks out his relative, only to learn Ray has no memory of any family members. Despite this, he tags along with Mighty and Ray to form their own trio.
With a near mastery of Feng Shui, Yang relies on the elemental forces to guide him in life and assist in battle.
Due to never wearing shoes, Yang avoids gliding as much as possible to avoid potential injury to his feet.
Personality
Yang is similar in personality to Ray, excitable yet timid. He bases a lot of things off of his studies of Feng Shui, referring to himself as a Water-type personality. He's more analytical of situations, preferring to gauge things from a distance before getting involved, which is often challenged by Mighty and sometimes Ray as well.
He's polite but shaken easily, but is able to see his own faults through his cousin and tries to overcome them.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Nature walks, summer and fall, drawing with chalk, reading, getting up to watch the sunrise, protein-rich food
Dislikes: Winter, having electronics in the same room he sleeps, thin sheets, licorice, being referred to as a Chaos Adapt
Background/History
Born in a small village near Chun-Nan, Yang quickly learned about the old ways of Feng Shui as well as the modern takes, mixing them together to try and navigate his life. In doing so, he came across a large metal shield inscribed with the same symbols one could see on the elemental compass, taking it with him.
Yang soon started hearing about his distant cousin's heroic actions taking place during the events where the planet broke apart. Unfortunately he couldn't go out to visit his cousin due to not being old enough at the time. But once he was finally able to secure his own ticket, he flew to Mighty and Ray's location to meet up with his cousin.
It would be to his shock and disappointment that Ray had no idea who he was, requiring a lengthy discussion of their family tree. Despite the slightly more rocky meeting, Mighty was happy to let Yang tag along so they could get to know each other better. Yang had some slight issues settling in due to their more adventurous and outdoorsy lifestyle, with only the tools in his pouch allowing him any reprieve from elemental imbalance.
With his elemental shield, however, Yang would prove a valuable ally, though there was some conflict on the origin of his powers. Mighty tried to claim the power was from Yang himself as a sort of Chaos power, causing Yang to get very upset that his spiritual beliefs were being written off. Thankfully Yang was able to let it go so long as Mighty respected his stance, and their friendship grew.
It would be thanks to some random chance encounters with Yang discovering what Mighty and Ray liked to do by themselves that would turn his relationship with his cousin from one of friendship to a polyamory.
