Here Hazel Woods (The gray hare) and her adopted sister Sylvie Reed (The brown rat) are taking a relaxing bath together in the peaceful woodland environment. Being a mage in training sure has it's benefits as Hazel has used her magic to heat up and clean the river water.
If by chance, any unwanted company comes by and bothers them....... Then memory wipe spell!
Sylvie is enjoying her bath session with her big sister, a family member that she has always desired, since her real parents abandoned her at a very young age. Hazel enjoys the rat girls company as she can get lonely at times, since she moved out from her family's place in the city, to live in the woods.
Notably in this picture Hazel is 19 and Sylvie is 12. Hears a ref of them,by a different artist https://inkbunny.net/s/2723810, where Sylvie is 15 and Hazel is now in her early 20's
Other things to note is that Sylvie has an arm made out of stone as she was born without a left arm and Hazel crafted her one by magic. The artists character style, is similar to that of zootopia and the 90s Watership Down animated series. I have a few stories with these characters planned.
Aww I love them! Such a beautiful depiction of sisterhood. The faint sun in the distance gives a graceful light on both Hazel and Sylvie, almost like they're glowing, healing the past together ^_^ Reading of Hazel's protective nature is heartwarming, such kindness towards Sylvie that seems to lift her spirits plenty.
I admire how they're postured as well, standing atop the clear, flowing river while Hazel holds her sisters' hand. As a mentor, Hazel's warm smile is reassuring, gentle and playful with the bath bowl - a sign of a bright future hopefully :D Lovely story and art to go with, these bonds between characters are among my favorites to learn about. Reflections of our own relationships we cherish greatly. Major congratulations to your collaboration, Akai did wonderfully.
