Hû raised the pistol in his hand slowly pointing it at the would be hero. Magical energy began to converge in the weapon as the flames roared behind him. "Their deaths are on your hands. You used them to shield yourself from me thinking I wouldn't go through them to get to you." A beam from one of the burning buildings let out a load crack as it buckled. "But you are wrong. They know what you did and still chose to protect you. So they will share in your punishment."
