For some reason, this reminds me of my mother's Red Beans and Rice. She lived in New Orleans for a time and gained recipes for Seafood Gumbo and Read Beans and Rice. I had my mother make Read Beans and Rice for a company Thanksgiving dinner. There was too much for the entire staff, so one of my coworkers (Who was my manager's nephew) took the whole thing home.
