This was a very serious and touching moment with Toby's concern, but I burst into laughter with the last panel, it sort of made me think the pup was trying to give his mentor a face lift to disguise his identity.

You do their relationship beautifully: the way Marcus presses little Tobi but also comforts him and holds him is really beautifully done. I love the way the comic flows as well, from the last panel to this one, the gentle shift of emotions and the way it continues to build and illustrate their relationship. Also poor Tobias most Witchers have kingdoms and worse who hate them. I can think of at least two off the top of my head who make basically every official they run into angry at them.
