In the No Zone, three time-travelers are on trial.
“King Sonic, you are a variant of Sonic the Hedgehog that originated from the Light Mobius timeline. When you changed the past, this resulted in your version of Shadow the Hedgehog becoming king in your place. You were no longer married to your version of Sally Acorn and your children were seemingly erased from existence. And for a time, Queen Sally was married to King Shadow to subdue his reign.”
“Jani-Ca, you are the daughter of the Knuckles the Echidna variant from the Dark Mobius timeline. You traveled to the main timeline in a misguided effort to save your father. When you returned to your timeline, your mother revealed the truth; your father was Dark Enerjak, a corrupted version of your father, who had conquered your world.”
“Silver the Hedgehog – You are a paradox with no existing variants. However, you appear to have originated from a timeline very similar to the Light Mobius timeline. You too traveled to the main timeline in a misguided attempt to terminate a would-be traitor within the Freedom Fighters. Your first target was Sonic the Hedgehog. Your second target was Rotor Walrus. You then sought out Antoine D’Coolette and Bunnie Rabbot before realizing Sally Acorn was the real target. Each change in the past resulted in your world changing.”
“You three have meddled with the past and have destabilized the space-time continuum. As a result of your meddling, the future timelines of Light Mobius and Dark Mobius have merged with Silver’s world. The merge seems to have stabilized things. However, many people from Light Mobius have inadvertently fused with their counterparts from Dark Mobius. The prime example of this is King Sonic, who has regressed in age from his fusion.”
“What happened to Sally and my kids?” King Sonic asked.
“Your ex-wife Queen Sally also regressed in age from her fusion. However, a paradox has created two versions of your children. One set is a teenager and a pre-teen. And the other set are a pair of young kindergartners.”
“Because of your actions, every future timeline that wasn’t already erased from existence now exists as one universe and it has been cut off from the main timeline. Meaning that, the main timeline has no written future.”
“Even though everything seems to have to worked out in the end, reckless time traveling can no longer be overlooked. Under normal situations, you would be sentenced to Zone Jail. However, we have another sentence for you.”
“These are your targets.” The trio is shown wanted posters of Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Eggman Nega. “Track down the rest of the remaining time travelers and your sentence will be lifted.”
