I just thought a dark sweater would go well with the orange and magenta. But now I get people thinking of this Stalkerloo.. it's a bit of a drag. (Not ragging on you, mind you, more ragging on myself.)

I'll have to admit, it's a little frustrating. This is.. was.. the first piece I did in a week and a half that I was happy with. In part it's not even my fault: even if it was better I guess the connection would remain. But think of it this way: if someone were to - unwittingly - draw straight-haired Pinkie eating a rainbow coloured cupcake to feel better.. and then got people projecting Cupcakes all over that picture and going the opposite end with their interpretation they would probably feel really bad about that. No one to blame, but it sucks.

yeah i see what you mean there. no one remembers pinkie with straight hair from the gala preparations only the fic cupcakes (in fact looking at the sticker on my laptop referencing that). sadly with so many variations to our favorite characters its bound to happen. ya should still feel proud of this though. its very nicely done. like the spot where the wings come out, most the time people don't add lil aspects like that they just have the wings magically coming out of the outfit. and the eyes and face in general give a very lovely expression. this is regardless of whom it resesmbles a good piece of work and for that you should feel proud.
