Was that a jalapeno? lol

No.  It was too long and thin.  Plus, jalapenos are a dark olive green this pepper is a light-medium green.  I'm thinking it's more closely related to a chili but not a chili.

Looks like one of the medium-spicy c. annuum cultivars.

I've seen jalapeños that large and long.
But also Serranos that grow a bit thicker than usual.

Really?  Interesting.  I never knew that but then, I'm not a big pepper eater.

Why am I certain it is also, unexpectedly, an aphrodisiac?

The warming potion probably isn't. The other stuff the herbalist gave him on the other hand is almost certainly rocket fuel for the libido.

I the rest of that stuff is for libido…. Gimme!!!!

What about Darnell's history suggests to you that he has EVER known what he's doing? :P

Well, the relative certainty he has with the prep suggests that he has personal experience with the warming potion in the past, and he did seem to think this location was a good vacation spot, so I'm hoping that he has prior knowledge working in his favor here.  And realistically, with the sort of local weather there has to be some sort of medical simple available to help ward off the pervasive chill of the climate.

So it's basically a hot and spicy sweet drink.
...I mean, it works in Breath of the Wild, so why not?

Lets call it a Ghost or Carolina Reaper pepper . Because we all know that she's about to regret drinking it.   Got milk?

If the hest is too much, eat bread, rice or tortilla chips. Liquids will only spread the oil that gives such peppers their hest, whereas the other foods will absorb some of it. And no, beer won't help at all, sadly enough.

Technically its the fat content that absorbs and starts to break down the capsicum effect.  Butter, lard, evaporated milk is quite effective since it's concentrated milk fat and protein. Other stuff that works well is oatmeal due to it's carbohydrates in a more glue like state.  It's also why Gluten is effective.
