Character Sheet for Rowan Clark
Character Description
Rowan is a thirty-four year old bernese mountain dog, simply trying to raise two kids and work his nine-to-five. When he's well rested he can be a fun and exciting father, but he's usually far too exhausted. He's 6'4 and 190lbs. He's well built, but he is starting to form more and more of a 'dad bod' much to his dismay.
Personality
Working six days a week, eight (or often more) hours a day, Rowan is usually just exhausted. However, on his day off, or in the mornings before work, he is usually much more raring to go. Even after he gets home from work, he is loving and affectionate- but usually not willing to do much more than cuddle, eat, watch a movie, or have a simple conversation.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes:
► His Kids: Rowan has wanted to be a father his whole life, and although he's been dealt a rough hand, he truly does love his kids and love spending time with them.
► Physical Affection: His favorite activity to do when he gets home is simply to lay down on the couch with Juno (Elijah likes it when he was younger) and watch a movie or TV Show. He loves cuddling, hugs, smooches, all of it.
Dislikes:
► Work: Rowan works fifty plus hours a week in a field he's not comfortable in- and it can be pretty soul destroying. He wants more time to relax and see his kids, but instead he's financially stuck within his job.
► Drama: After getting home from work, Rowan has a limited amount of energy to deal with drama between his kids. He has tendencies just to tell them to stop fighting rather than resolving whatever problem it was.
Background/History
Rowan was a pretty normal kid back in highschool- and that's where he met Hazel. She was a cheerleader, he played football. It was a highschool-sweetheart scenario, but the two fit well for eachother. They had their first child, Elijah, when they were only eighteen, renting out an apartment. They wanted atleast two more, but, Hazel's health degraded quickly, and by the time Elijah was only three, and Rowan was twenty-one, she passed away.
Left alone to take care of a three-year-old baby, Rowan never had much time to truly work through and process his wife's passing. So, he continued forward. Another close friend of his from highschool passed, and he took on the task of raising her baby, Juno. With two kids to raise, he's had a challenging time, but he does everything he can to raise them properly. He hasn't found anyone new to date- nor thought about it, and chances are he won't anytime soon.

Body
Rowan is a Saint Bernard, and extremely fluffy. However, rather than seeming intimidating he usually just appears big and fluffy. He is mostly black, with white on his feet, hands, face, and chest. He has spots of orange around the same areas as white.
Clothing
He's most often seen in his work attire, khakis and a dress shirt. At night he strips down to just underwear (or sometimes he just passes out in his work clothes). On his off days, he still prefers jeans over shorts, but more casual shirts.
