Nice try. It's actually a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with the factory correct "Plum Crazy" paint job. It probably has a 440cid engine with a six-pack carburetor setup under that hood, also likely mated to a cast iron manual model A-833 4-speed tranny.
I've owned my fair share of Mopars (and a couple of Mustangs, etc.) back in the day and easily recognized this car. Now, ask me about those small modern cars that look alike and I'm mostly clueless. The vast majority of SUVs also look alike to me these days. 🥱

I'll concede I don't know the difference of Challenger and Charger on sight just the basic points that made it look like a Charger to me. SO if you say it's a Challenger it's a Challenger. :)

It's OK. Old farts such as myself who were into cars from the sixties to the early seventies, well before they became classics, still remember them as of it were yesterday.
I still find it amazing at how much money those things fetch these days, even in fair to rough condition.

They're like old comic books. The best ones are now collectables and kept in hermetically sealed vaults so the collectors are seeking out rough and gently used one to actually read. THOSE go for ALMOST the same price and the ones in mint and excellent condition which is amazing! :)

O_O I just learned something new. I have some old comics that are in various states of condition and figured that the ones in less than pristine condition aren't worth much. Thanks to you, I will have to go through them again someday and see what they are worth nowadays. I just wish I had an original first issue of Action Comics, but who doesn't? LOL

Seriously with the state of DC and Marvel these days old Silver Age comics are SERIOUSLY in demand! Bronze age too. If you have any you want to sell your local Comic Store would LOVE to see them in just about ANY condition!
Good luck. :D
Oh yeah! The Holy Grail of Comic collectors. Seriously with the state of DC and Marvel these days o
in 2014 when i was car shopping, i ALMOST bought a challenger... it was plum crazy just like this one, it had black trim and the white racing stripe too!
it was just a little bit outside my budget so i couldnt afford it... also theyre gas guzzlers so it would have been even more expensive in the long run anyway

Oh, wow. I haven't seen the avatar that you are currently using in ages. I also used it long ago and am glad to see it still making its rounds. It looked larger on lower resolution screens making it even better at getting a reaction out of someone. Fun times...
BTW, I just saved it to my computer, again. 🤣

This reminds me of an old TV commercial for a pest control service that I think began with a white screen and a roach crawling around. It freaked out a lot of homeowners and rumor has it that some people actually damaged their screens when they threw objects at them.
I checked on YouTube, but didn't find the one I'm thinking about. It's not the same Orkin one that comes up first in the search.
