Sauroids

This is the result of me being a bit bored and trying to figure what to draw. So I figured I'd draw up one of my Sauroid characters. ^^

It was a sunny day out. Vern had decided to go for a walk out int he park. It'd been a long week and he wanted to unwind. As he walked through the park his mind drifted to the Legacy Day festival. Being on Earth he wondered what sort of festivities his people where would celebrate. The biggest celebration would likely be in Antarctica. Vern had heard from his dad that they might be moving there. That was part of why he was on this walk. He was conflicted about the possible move. On the one hand there'd be far more Sauroids there as it was what the Earth nations agreed to give them in exchange of Sauroid aid in uplifting human species. Still despite what the Sauroid were doing for Humanity they were often met with skepticism. Humans assumed that Sauroids had greater aims. Of course the Sauroid council had no aim other than to place some of it's people back on the world of their origin. Vern had found out this mistrust trickled down to the general populace. He was often times teased by his human peers. They were most relentless in teasing him for his diapers. Of course for Sauroid males it was fairly normal. Over 20% had a physical need for them and another 5 to 7% wore for convenience. Despite all this there there was on the other hand a good number humans which were polite and appreciative. Vern had made friends with a number of them. He'd gotten to like them. So the young Sauroid walked across the bridge of the small stream that ran through the park mind adrift in these thoughts greatful for the quite of the park today. The only sounds being those of animals, the wind, the stream, and an ever present though muffled crinkle.
