Just some basic biology for my race.
Both male and female are the same in this category.
Scientific notations: Lynark males are capable of impregnating any mammalian/avian species as they can change the shape and size of their penis to match the male of the species.
The female of any species impregnated by a Lynark never has any issues with carrying or birthing the young.
With avian impregnation, the eggs will continue to grow, after being laid, to accommodate the young Lynark.
Irrelevant of species, the young are always Lynark no matter how small upon birth. However, one of their irises will always match the color of the mother's which, in many cases, can be a dead giveaway as to their genealogical origin despite being entirely Lynark and may make their father subject to scrutiny as well as ostracization and even exile if a satisfactory explanation isn't given.
Female Lynark can be impregnated by any mammalian species, but not avian due to lacking the ability to produce the mineral elements for eggshell production.
No female would do this, however, as Lynark and humans are favored for reproduction.
Being psychologically predisposed to desiring a family, female Lynark refuse to allow animal impregnation. Some have gone so far as to kill an animal for simply trying to mount them.
Lynark can psychically communicate with animals as easily as with people, however, females lack the ability to transform animals into Lynark.
The only male that can do so is a Lynark Savant. Having the biological and psychic abilities to do so, a Savant can easily raise an animals genome to that of a Lynark and, with that, they also become sentient.
