Not too long ago I won a character bid from Merenhor's auction. The first time I saw her, I had this idea in my head of who she was, and ways she could fit in with my story as a side character. I was very surprised to actually win the bid for her, and wanted to have her more than just a dusty piece of art in my archives. And so became Bailey. A young girl with a bit of a Daria personality, who has a desperate crush/interest in Amy. This is a piece stuck in my head of her desperately wanting to tell Amy how she feels, but never having a clean opportunity to open up. There's always an interruption. This time Amy just happily runs off to her brother calling her to walk home together after school, leaving Bailey in the dust. This would be before the "Caught Kissing" pages... Happily, Bailey eventually opens up, and while she would prefer to have Amy to herself, well... let's see what happens, shall we? Drew this at work today, so you can spot a few mistakes for sure as I did have to rush in a few spots.
