At this point, Mewtwo probably has the ability to just like....hear everyone and or a few other things. I dunno, world scrying? Based on what I'm seeing here, TiNi was set to meet this Mewtwo since he first did his Psychicisms on the field, which happened way before we saw him do it in the comic.
