A few weeks ago one of the players in my D&D group (The same player who plays Nishara) got a birthday card that had a picture of a porcupine stuck to a tree after getting flung off of a see-saw. They then asked me to take that concept and apply it to Kalahari. So I did.
So my head canon is that Nishara talked Kalahari into this, so someone is getting a smacked bottom when she gets down.
