An early sheet for a cookie fella named "Bennington". I like the design most and that's what stuck to me, and I decided that would be the reason to draw him.
It used to be a young human boy that had an "accident" at a bakery that were running experiments at the time, the company has gone corrupt and has plans to dissolve the tradition of making bread the old fashioned way, putting his town's culture and legacy at peril... He's very timid and has to grow the courage to stop them. I haven't expanded this story yet and i'm only trying out a transformation theme in it so far, so I haven't yet figured out how to make it not seem... weird.
