Zulfi couldnt take the anger and disapointment after Kel's death at the temple to Hakkar. The look Mo gave her, the blame at the failure of her healing abilities. She ran, ran into the jungle. She wanted to be numb, to not feel. To not remember the blood and bits of troll flesh that had covered her. She wanted the nightmares to cease. She took to drinking her Shakka brew just to cloud her mind and make her forget.
