Happy Birthday Beachparty!
Girl Talk
Well it's time to take the kids out for some flying lessons.  Seems Mikey needs a little more help than his younger siblings.  However daddy is happy to take the time needed to help his little boy.  Riley rides my tail, Penny waits for her turn, Savanah shows off (as usual) and J.R. scoots out of the way of his bro.  Eliza, my pet dragon, flies along for fun and Firefly seems to believe that just because I wasn't born with wings I have to have an eye kept on me while teaching my own kids.

Mikey colored this and owns himself and Eliza.

Thanks, and that's my fuzzy self there with my wings extended.  Retractable wings are cool.

Some of my characters could fly:
(1) Earwing, a mutant bunny, son of Crusader, who uses his ears.
(2) Wingless Wonder, who uses a flight suit and a special mask (Wendy Waugh)
(3) The Woodpecker, another character who appeared ONCE in my story "A little Night Mischief". Before I could develop the character, I stopped cartooning, and in the 16-17 years since, I forgot any details.
And M the Magnificent, who could copy the powers of almost anybody he was near ...

Just about all the members of my "Casper & Co." could fly.

The Marvel superhero, Angel, could fly -and professor X  put him and the others through some tough training !

(The mid-term exam - a huge battle robot enters the room and the X-Men are to defeat it ! Beast quips "Couldn't we have a written test instead ?"" which I think got him a rebuke from Cyclops who has NO sense of humor.).

An addendum to my prior comment, as the time slot for editing had just expired...

I recall Woodpecker and Wingless Wonder would have a fight in my "altered states" tripytch, but the 3 stories were never written.
(1) M the Magnificent must spend a weekend without the sense of sight, courtesy of a special headgear that covers his eyes -so as to use his other senses to get around.
(2) Wingless Wonder fights with Woodpecker in the sky, even as the former explores the mind-bending effects of flying.
(3) Mortimer Marsh, father of Macrobe* , gets addicted to gambling in Atlantic City and while his wife is trying to stop him....

* Macrobe has telekinesis and telepathy and here is helping his father secretly.
