I never wanted a goldfish because they seem to be too hard to raise. There were also too many jokes about burying or otherwise disposing of the dead bodies. They ARE capable of growing to rather large size. if one takes proper care.
It's also time for people to STOP eating fish, as the world reserves are now depleted and as an ecological imbalance or food-chain collapse is imminent.
