That's no garter snake. Maybe pouncing on random tails in an environment you've never been before is not the best idea. Don't worry, I'm sure the snake will educate her.

My main focus for this comic is the background, as well as the fox's poses and expressions. As far as the background goes, I tried to desaturate the colors to make the characters pop more, and tried to make the lighty bits warmer and the shadowy bits cooler. Not sure if I was successful, as the background ended up more... yellow... than I wanted. Ah well, least I feel like I made some progress. One day I'll figure out this whole "color" thing everyone's been raving about.

I do like how the bottom three panels turned out, though.

Also, I got rid of the scarf thingy, cause I'm not sure if I really like it, and it's annoying to draw. Also, I realized halfway through that I forgot to draw it. ^^; Aurora's appearance is sure to change from image to image, I can guarantee that.

I need a drink.
