Preparing for the second half of a rather uneventful football game against the Browns, I assured the rest of my team that we had plenty of time to defeat them, unaware of the impeding danger that was approaching us!
Unseen by the players, Rancid sat silently on the sidelines, admiring my speed and agility, hoping to recruit me to her pack. Feeling ready, she sprung from her hiding spot with a loud thump!
A loud purr was all it took for the opposing team to notice her presence! A Browns player yelled in shock, causing me to drop my attention from the game in confusion. A WHAT was on the field?!?
I looked up just time to see Rancid's large snout, filled with very sharp teeth, which promptly chomped down on my arm. The transformation took hold quickly, and I screamed as my mouth pushed outward. It grew large, sharp teeth, destroying my face guard!
I grunted as my compression pants tightened, thanks to a new large appendage growing from my behind. My pants could hold no longer, and a large raptor's tail burst from them!
My gloves were the next to go as my hands grew scales and talons and ripped through them like they were paper. My chest also grew larger, destroying my favorite jersey!
My helmet was spared, as it slipped off while my head finished transforming. I roared as most of my hair fell out, while the remaining strands got a blonde highlight and formed a mohawk!
My cleats were the last to go as giant talons shredded right through them. I wouldn't need their protection anymore!
I was unusually at peace as I examined my new body, wondering how much further I could throw the football!
I wondered if we were still gonna finish the game, or would the team have to play without me? I was absolutely sure I could be a major asset to the team as a giant velociraptor!
