Neither Angel nor Mirage are wearing combat uniforms. So it's probably not a military organized thing, rather a rebel group or something else civil. Both of the girls got some BIG guns, meaning their enemy is quite probably very strong.
Given that most of the "very strong" enemies are able to resist normal weapons fire, it's best to assume they need to come up with an innovative way to fight it.
"Asleep" - The text on Angel's arm display. Sleep or rather dreams have played a big part in past works, given that Aion is basically a shared lucid dream. The display seems to be a reality checker, to tell if one is in a dream or awake.
Which leads me to believe that said strong enemy is vulnerable in dreams, Inception style. As there is more than one NCA fighter, these dreams are probably shared between them too.
Both posters give off that "Cute girls with guns" vibe, taking into account what Flame's favourite animes are... You're probably trying to pull a Madoka magica thing there. "Oh, look, cute furs having fun! . . . Nah, plot twist, have your soul ripped out!"
Repent, repat. Seen that written a couple times. Sounds very time-loopy to me. You fail, get killed and then have to try again the next day, maybe doing it a little better than before.
TL;DR: A group of cute rebel furs fighting in a dream-like state against an overpowering entity which can't be harmed by conventional means, keeping on re-doing the fight until they figure out a way to win, probably sacraficing a main charachter or two in the end.
You really did well drawing her. Gives of that vibe of "don't you ever get in my way!" Probably best for ones health to be fren not foe.

hoooo~ I see you got quite a few things right, I wonder how many of the I told you about~ Some are totally wrong though! I like your analysis, I'm happy to see I designed certain things in a way that can express said ideas and be noticed by people with critical eyes~ kind proud of mysef, but also quite happy with my community <3
Also, Angel's gun is quite small~ an SMG after all. I will give her a much bigger gun on the next NCA redesign, something to fit her personality, hehe!
