Sally has reached her breaking point when her father keeps one too many secrets and many around her she needs to keep a calm composure and let things go since she's a princess.
(This is Sally from my Altered au, in which Sally is abit more open on her feelings of how once her father is back and all of sudden she's kept out of everything even about her mother and brother.)
Well in the comics once her father returns, Sally is placed into the background, as she has to listen to her dad, she isn't really allowed outside the castle or away from any armed guards. She is constantly told what to do and how to do it. She never gets praise for what she did before her father returns, it seems like everyone other then her friends know Sally is capable of being a great leader but again once her dad returns it's like her leadership and skills were just tossed out for her to be a perfect princess that listens and obeys
So in "Altered" Sally is abit more vocal about she feels and after finally being told about her Brother and Mother being alive she's kinda had it with her father keeping secrets and being told what she can and can't be. Even though she knows who she is. Leader and Friend to the Freedom Fighters.

Max was the same with his son, prevented him from becoming a connotational monarch as he wished and baited what was a potential Oliver Cromwell.
A bit off but nice outfit! But yeah, betrothing her away like that too a guy who may be one of her
