This past week, so busy, and so hard. Today is the first day we have gotten a break, and even then most probably wouldn't call it a break. We were told that the humans could attack at any moment, they know where we are. Thankfully because of how this base I guess you would call it is set up, Attacking is very hard. They could bomb us, but they know there are humans on this land aswell and they don't want harm to come to them. So I'm thankful for that. Attacking on foot is difficult because we will see them coming from any direction, and they can't get tanks into position because for them to be at a safe distance they don't have a clear shot to us. They tried attacking us on foot before, but quickly learned that was a bad idea. With our superior speed, strength and site we outclassed them. One of our trainers is ex-military, he went awal when he inhaled the mist that had been changing people. So now he is with us, training us how to shoot. Oddly enough he hasn't changed, supposedly there are some humans that are immune to the mist, guess he is one of them. Either way, as a comparison to how better we are to the humans, he grabbed a small sniper rifle and shot a target that was on the other side of the base. Landing the shot almost dead center before telling me to make the same shot. Only difference was that I didn't use the small XM2010. Don't get me wrong, it is a good gun and all. Just 30 years old. No, I was stuck with the Barret M450, It's not something humans can use easily. It fires a 20mm that... holy crap gives a kick when fired. I understand why the humans dubbed it a hellcannon. I'm told that our teacher couldn't of fired it like I did, it would have broken his shoulder. My shoulder is sore from firing it, but far from broken. Ontop of that I did hit the target, I'm sure how far off from the center I was cause, well, the target was gone, along with part of the concrete wall and the large sand mound that was behind it. I was the only one that got to fire it, cause I was easily the largest of the group. The youngest, but the largest. I was also the only one that could lift it. Few other things happened through out the week, made a couple of friends. Tony is a small dog type anthro, not really sure what he is so we call him mut, and James is white jackrabbit. We poke fun at him and say he should change his name from James to Jack, he would get to keep the first two letters of his old name. Funny thing is he is actually considering doing it. Many of the anthros around here have changed their name, new forms come with new names. Sabrina and I have chosen to stick with ours though. Got a guy named Roland in our squad, he is a bit of an ass but all around a cool guy. He changed into a donkey, feel kinda bad for him. I'm sure it goes with out reason that we make fun of him that he is a jackass, and a donkey. I have seemed to make an impact on our teachers. Robby, a smaller cat anthro and I are suppose to take a series of tests tomorrow. Who ever scores better will be made platoon leader, and possibly get some extra training aside from the extra training platoon leaders go through. Tonight and the next few nights are going to suck, Sabrina was taken from me. She isn't allowed to see me for the next week and a half. I'm told it is because she has gone into heat, and the last thing they need is for her to get pregnant and end up with a litter running around. I would have to agree on that, so I'll bare with it and do what they think is best. Not sure when I will get to make another log in my journal, but I'm stopping here for the night.
