Well I've been on a bit of a DC Comics bing and well liking the Martian Manhunter I thought what the heck I'd make my own Martian. ^^ Decided since their shape shifters I'd show him in two outfits and in his human form.

Codename: Shift.
Age: 16. (Discounting time in cryo.)
Gender: Male
Species: Green Martian
Homeworld: Mars
Abilities: Shape shifting, size alteration, invisibility, intangibility, super strength, flight, telepathy.
Personality: Typically light hearted and outgoing. Works well in group and is able to make friends easily. Occasionally hot headed and sensitive to psyo-physical incontinence. Attached to trappings of infancy for occasional recreation. Suffers from a stronger than normal phobia of fire. Has Frequent nightmares about his previous life on Mars.
Biography: Born on Mars and having a relatively average like until the events of the plague on Mars. Witnessed his parents and several friends burn to death due to effects of the plague. Was able to retreat to a paternal uncle's residence in the outskirts. He along with several refugees were put into cryo pods and inserted into Mars orbit. Subsiquent asteroid strike a thousand years later destroyed the facility on the ground which the pods were launched from. The Asteroid's approach along with lack of corrective data from the facility caused the pods to loose orbit. Some flung out into the solar system and others crashing to Mars. His pod eventually was caught by Earth's gravity and made planet fall in Africa. The pod sustained significant damage and due to the nature of it's deactivation caused cryo sickness. Was rescued by near by towns people who recognized a resemblance to the Martian Manhunter. After several days of recovery He began assisting the town in any way he could. During the course of this he protected it from an escaped genetically augmented animal. During this event the Martian Manhunter noticed a psyonic signal from elsewhere on the continent. Since the two's meeting Ben has been inducted as a Junior Member of the League.
