I'm not sure how many people are aware of this cartoon featured in Sonic Jam.  It was called "Sonic the Animation," but I always associated it as "Sonic Man of the Year."

Long story short, Eggman puts on a Sonic suit and rocket skates.  He then causes mischief, ruining Sonic's reputation.

Apparently, people mistaking someone for Sonic was a thing in the 90s.  We had Eggman, King Sonic, Pseudo Sonic, and Extra Life.

If that pose looks familiar, it's same pose as the gold statue outside of Robotnik's base in "The Adventures of the Sonic the Hedgehog" cartoon.
