"I offer you a gift, add my form to yours" were the words that rang through Ion's head as he clasped hands with Mythos, his being as a fox shattering away as new features formed in their place, his clothing changing to suite the new form it was surrounding, it was not like Ion hadn't experienced this before, ever since he know Mythos as kids, he would love to use his trickster abilities to temporary transform Ion and his friends into bunnies themselves as a way to have some fun with them, but this time it was different, it was a pact, like the one he made with Lazar long ago, to add this form to his own abilities. As an awakened demon, a demon fox at that, Ion now had access to inherent abilities of his heritage, one of them being the abilities of the shapeshifter which required him to form pacts with others he had close ties to in order to access new forms and abilities. The first form he acquired was a pact on his birthright with the dragon clan of the mountains, as his father and grandfather before him traveled the dangerous patch to prove themselves in the eyes of the dragons and gain their abilities, Ion did so as well as a child, creating a bond with the dragon Lazarus after overcoming many trials, ending with a ceremony to ignite their union, though at the time neither know the full extent of the ritual that had transpired. Ion quickly unlocked the ability of fire afterwards but it was not until adulthood when the full effects would transpire, which was key to defeating Virgil as his demonic being was starting to awaken and now as a fully awakened fox demon, a kyuubi, creating these pacts became all the more important to unlocking his shapeshifting abilities. It is not like the pact host doesn't get anything out of it either, Ion's power gets added to their own as well, though more in a supporting way, as a form of payment for the abilities he has acquired from their forms, it is a bond that benefits both equally, one Mythos was willing to form after Ion had done so much for him and besides, in Mythos' eyes it look like Ion enjoyed his bunny form every time he trickstered him into it, even if Mythos didn't really like how Ion dressed as one, giving him full access to the bunny form anytime he wanted was the way he wanted to pay him back. One last benefit or curse of the pact that Mythos didn't consider was just how close the bond would be, there had to be compatibility to beginning with before a pact could be made but how much that intensified afterwards was something that he didn't foresee.....
