All right so I have been diagonesed with ADHD (which I have IRL). This medicine should help counteract the effects, but it's sealed for my protection? Why, It's for me?

They do IRL, but I do wonder why they’re sealed!

so you know no one has tampered with them after they were packaged maybe?

Well, only the pharmacy has had them so...

One reason why such medicine bottles are specially sealed is because of the "Chicago Tylenol murders".  A pretty nasty incident.

Also it's to make sure little bunnies don't scoff them all at once because they might resemble candy.  The therapeutic range is often not far from the overdose range.

Never heard of that incident. Also they sure don’t taste like candy, a lot worse in fact

Perhaps, but if they're tasteless etc, you may be tempted to absent-mindedly eat them etc.  And yeah, that incident is pretty nasty because a fair few innocent people died and the perpetrator was never caught.

Because momies, daddies and caretakers like to have control on everything?

Ugh, I remember when my parents made me take Ritalin. I hated taking them.

Ritalin, like Prozac is one of those things that got a lot of public exposure and so seems to be the go-to medication, even at the expense of vocational solutions.  Still, sometimes they are the solution or at least take the edge off things.

I personally am on anti-depressants, and I had to go through three different chemicals, including Prozac (fluoxetine) before we found one that seems to work best.  As I've learnt, mental health is not an exact science.
