There are many types of Swords in Xodia and some are Legendary. But there is a Blade that was said to be So powerful, it was sealed away to protect it from those who would bring Destruction and Death. Thousands of years Ago, the Greatest smiths and mages of the Giant Desert kingdoms came together and crafted a weapon during a time of war. A weapon unlike any other.

The weapon was Blazeguard. A sword used by the Warriors of the Desert. Forged with Black Steel and Enchanted to cause Wildfire Damage. The Wildfire enchantment allowed the Blade to cut through and incinerate anything. Blazeguard was Given to a warrior who was chosen by the Kingdoms Makar, Ekrakar and Xamid to be their Great Champion. The Champion used Blazeguard to kill the Enemies of the desert and put an end to the conflict.

The Champion continued to use the Blade to Defend the Giant Desert. After he died, Many warriors fought to try and claim Blazeguard for themselves. The Kingdoms feared the Sword would fall into the wrong hands. To ensure that Blazeguard could never be used to bring about chaos, the Kings of the Deserts tasked the Mages and Warriors of Old with guarding it.

Blazeguard was carried in secret to the Five Mountains. The only Mountains of the desert, Four small mountains surrounding an even larger mountain. The Mages and Warriors entered the Mountain, traveling deep beneath the surface. They entered the Ancient Temples that resided under the mountain. Blazeguard was placed on a shrine and sealed in a small chamber.

After the sword was sealed away, The Warriors and Mages who carried the blade to the temple were mummified alive so they would forever guard it. After Blazeguard was sealed away, an ancient scriber fort old of a Prophecy that Blazeguard would one day be picked up by a Noble Warrior. But in the thousands of years since it was sealed, Blazeguard remained hidden from the realm.
