This is a little event I come up for all my patron to have some fun. It’s a story of young hybrid pony-changeling who try to find her father.

Hmmm...this seems easy. Different world, different customs.
In D&D such a promise from ANY dragon is just talking hot air! A dragon must swore to something, that is very dear to them, or onto something that they respect and fear to betray...usually to the name of the God/Goddess they worship, and in breaking the promise it'll either evoke that God's wrath...or blessing. Got to know the dragon type very well for such an oath/promise will indeed be honoured! An evil dragon breaking a promise to a 'lesser being' may be looked as a good deed by an evil Dragon God, so maybe evil dragon's have to swore an oath to good Dragon God to be forced to own up to the promise!
