Kind of suspected that what he felt wasn't entirely untrue, just suppressed. I'm guessing when he was little he liked to play dress-up or because he was a shiny, he was raised as a girl and just suppressed those memories or desires of the things he liked. Or it was just an interest he had before growing up / evolving.
Now knowing all of that, it begs the question if he can still fix what was broken, or is it too late?

Also literally anyone can crossdress. It's not exclusive to flamboyant gay men and never was. Straight men (cis and trans) crossdress too. Similar how a woman wanting to be masculine in how they express gender doesn't automatically make her a butch lesbian. :///
