Every now and then the Care Bears like to check up on the people they've helped through their love and caring tendencies.  This time True Heart Bear is checking on John and Dawn, who she met at a campground.  She's pleased to know that she and the other Care Bears and the Cate Cousins helped John and Dawn, along with their friend Christy, change from believing they were "nobodies" and "losers" to believing they're "camp champs".  They also helped to free a possessed little boy from Dark Heart's evil influence.  Now True Heart sees the twin siblings trying their hand at breakdancing.  John's putting on some pretty awesome moves on the floor while Dawn's laying down some serious "beat-boxing" on their CD boom box.  True Heart believes these two will become champs in that field.

This fanart was requested by "JordanShooter5772" of Imgur, and I hope it's the last request he makes.  I have a lot of other requests and personal projects on my list, and I'd like to get them out of the way before I take on more requests.  Anyway, Jordan asked for the twins to be put in "pull-ups" instead of diapers this time.  Well, like the tagline goes: "They're big kids now."

Hey! This is a great picture. As far as requests go, I have some advice. Heed it or don't - I won't take it personally. This is just some advice from an artist to another artist.

Maybe you should try to take requests in slots? Like, 3-4 slots a month or something, whatever works for you! For example, you put up a journal saying "Hey, I'm taking 3 requests, first come, first served." And to make it more fair, tell your requesters that they are allowed 1 slot per month. If you think you can take more than 3-4 per month, then by all means do so if you're comfortable!

Again, this is just advice coming from a fellow artist who also has/had a hard time saying no to folks. You have to exercise that muscle for sure, or people will walk all over you. I know this from experience.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. I know the feeling of having requests open and everyone jumping at a chance to get drawn and I don't want you to burn out.

Thanks for the compliment and advice!  I'll be sure to give it some thought.

Of course!! It's no fun when you're burnt out and trying to make art - especially since you're not even getting paid for it. :/
