I like coming up with story ideas, especially those that are born out of changing a single thing in an existing universe and exploring the ripple effect of that change and the lion king is one of my favorite universes to do this to.

More often than not Scar's life is the one affected the most and some of those times his nephew becomes somewhat of a light in his dark life.

So thank you

If I'd been Simba at the end of the movie, I'd have tried working out a deal to let the hyenas, at least, come and go freely. In nature, hyenas "finish the job" when lions are done eating, so it would make for a cleaner land.
