i dunno if any of you have read the his dark materials books, or watched the movie or show, but i have a dæmon -- basically, my soul is a shapeshifting animal! his name is pythagoras (pyth), and these are all the various forms he takes. he's settled as a white arctic fox with blue eyes (pictured last) but he likes to turn into pokémon and digimon forms too, and spends about half of his time as patamon. the white ferret form in the second picture was the first form he ever appeared as, and the white light in the first one is what i consider to be his true form, his "insides" or "essence" so to speak. i drew these pictures in 2020 in honor of knowing him for 13 years!
Pythagoras appears to be a very exciting companion to have. You did great showing the variety of forms he can take.
I've had a muse, Caity, for over 20 years now. Not sure I am willing to go so far as to call her a dæmon, but I have friends who would say she is a part of me. She's mostly been depicted as a lynx since I tried to give her her own voice that others can hear online.
