With the summer season in full bloom, children of all ages were presented with copious amounts of free time now that they were finally able to emancipate themselves from the boredom of school and enjoy their summer break in whatever way they pleased. Of course, you couldn’t have a summer break without some kind of vacation or road trip, and Sunny was well aware of this fact; long before summer break, the brightly blond haired nine year old had constantly pestered her parents about her desire to go on a vacation, as the time constraints from being in school for months and months on end hadn’t exactly given her many opportunities for traveling and exploring the world beyond her small town. However, now that she was free from the time-consuming chambers of her classroom, Sunny finally had the opportunity to go on a family vacation, and she couldn’t be any more excited about it.

After a lengthy car ride and a brief stop to check in at the hotel, Sunny and her family start off their vacation with plentiful amounts of tours and sightseeing. Whether they were walking along the scenic routes, strolling by some kind of historical monument, or embarking on guided tours through museums and observatories, Sunny was enjoying every second of it; each and every new observation was like an undiscovered wonder of the world to her, making for a truly one of a kind experience. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, she got to enjoy this experience with her most adorable and reliable companion, Cotton, a white rabbit plushie that Sunny had cherished ever since she was a baby.

“Well, I think we’ve done our fair share of tours and sightseeing, don’t you think, Sunny?” her mother asks after concluding yet another museum tour. “Let’s head back to the hotel.”

“But, Mom! Cotton and I wanna explore some more!” Sunny replies with a slight pout as she hugs her plushie tighter.

“Are you sure, sweetie? It’s getting kind of late.” her father adds.

“Pleeeeeease? Just one more tour?” the girl pleads.

“I suppose we could squeeze in one more, but you’ll have to be quick about which one you want, ok?” the mother replies.

Sunny nods and looks around the area, though it doesn’t take long to find something that piques her interest when her eyes quickly fixate on a large facility along with a sign that reads  “High-Tech Housing: Guided Tours Of The World’s First Automated Home.”

“Oooh! I wanna go on the tour of the automated home! I wanna see all of the cool machines!” Sunny says, excitedly pointing at the sign and jumping in place.

With that decided, the family makes their way over to the facility and steps inside, swiftly being greeted by a tall man in a black suit and black pants.

“Welcome! I assume you’re here for the automated house tour, correct?” the man asks.

“That’s right! We’d like three passes, please!” the mother cheerfully replies.

“Actually, you’re only going to need two passes.” the man says while looking at Sunny. “Each participant has to pay $50, but little kids aged six and under get a free pass!” he adds as he bends down to the kid’s height and pats her on the head.

An annoyed glare forms on Sunny’s face in response to the man’s good-intentioned gesture, as while being nine years old still put her in the territory of being a little kid, it really got on her nerves when other people treated her like she was younger than her actual age, especially because Sunny wanted to be perceived as a mature and intelligent girl. Even if passing off as a younger child would end up saving her family some money, she was a bit too prideful to let the man’s actions go uncontested.

“Hey! I’m nine years old! I’m not a little kid!” Sunny stomps her foot and sticks out her tongue; ironically, in spite of her desire to be perceived as smart and mature, her childish mannerisms and occasional brattiness didn’t exactly coincide with said desires.

“Oh! My apologies!” he says with a chuckle. “In that case, that’ll be $150 for the three of you.”

Once everything is paid for, Sunny and her parents follow the man and step inside what seems to be a large living room. As they continue walking around the room, Sunny encounters numerous robots performing all kinds of tasks, be it cleaning the floors, organizing the furniture, or preparing food in the kitchen. Heading farther into the tour, the group enters an even larger nursery containing various types of machines and contraptions; some were building toys and stuffed animals, a few were dusting off the walls and floors, and others were organizing the changing supplies. Naturally, all of this advanced machinery was absolutely fascinating to Sunny, and now she wanted to see every inch of the automated house.

“Wow! I wanna see more! I wanna see everything!” Sunny says excitedly.

“As much as I’d love to show you every corner and crevice of this house, little one, that would take several hours.” the guide replies with a smile.

“Hey! I already told you I’m not a little kid!” Sunny yells with a childish scowl.

“Whoops, slip of the tongue.” the man says with a chuckle. “Don’t worry, you can always come back tomorrow if you want to see more of it!”

With the tour coming to an end, the family walks out of the facility and heads back to their hotel room. In spite of the annoyance that came with others calling her a little kid, Sunny couldn’t deny that she had a lot of fun today.

“Hehe, that was so much fun, wasn’t it Cott-

Sunny quickly realizes that her cherished rabbit plushie didn’t make it back to the hotel, presumably because she had dropped it sometime during the automated house tour.

“Mom! Dad!” the blond haired girl rushes to her parents with tears in her eyes.

“What’s the matter, Sunny?” her mother asks her.

“Cotton is gone! My favorite plushie is gone!” Sunny replies as her lip starts to quiver.

“Don’t worry, you probably just dropped it during the automated house tour. We can come back to the facility tomorrow and search for it, ok, Sunny?” she reassuringly responds.

“But I don’t want to wait until tomorrow! I want him back now!” Sunny says with another childish pout. “Can’t we just go back now? It’s not that far of a walk.”

“Sweetie, we’re on vacation, so we’ll have all the time in the world to search for your stuffed bunny tomorrow.” her father says. “Besides, if we don’t end up finding it, we can always buy you a new one.”

“No! It’s not the same! There’s no stuffed bunny that can replace Cotton!” Sunny responds.

“How about this? If you go to bed now, we’ll go back to the facility and search for Cotton bright and early in the morning, ok?” her mother suggests.

“Fine…” Sunny concedes with a groan.

She walks inside one of the vacant bedrooms and slumps onto the bed, too upset to even bother replacing her bright pink shirt and light green skirt with a pair of pajamas. Sunny then pulls the covers over herself and rests her head on the pillow, figuring she’d sleep the night away if it meant reuniting with her plushie companion as quickly as possible. Time passes once Sunny closes her eyes, though the girl struggles to fall into any kind of deep sleep; as embarrassing as it was for a self proclaimed big kid like Sunny to be so attached to her stuffed animal, the fact was she simply couldn’t sleep without it, as she was always used to sleeping with Cotton securely cuddled up to her chest. Several more minutes of tossing and turning occur in a desperate attempt to get some shut eye, but such attempts are to no avail, leaving her staring at the ceiling with restless eyes.

“Ugh! I can’t wait until tomorrow! I need Cotton back now!” Sunny says to herself. “If my parents aren’t gonna bother searching for him until tomorrow, then I’ll just have to go to that facility myself!”

With little hesitation, Sunny hops out of bed and walks out of her room, quietly tiptoeing to the door in order to mitigate the risk of waking up her parents. After making her way to the door, she quietly places her hand on the doorknob and rotates it ever so slowly, knowing that even the slightest sound would cause her plan to crumble into pieces.

Creak!

The door makes a slight creaking sound when it opens, causing Sunny to immediately cringe and freeze in place. Several seconds pass in tense silence as she assumes the worst, but after picking up no sound of her parent’s footsteps, she sighs in relief and slides out the door.

“Ok, I’m out of the room. Now I just have to leave the hotel without getting caught.” she says to herself.

Sunny continues her slow and silent tiptoeing through the hall and to the stairway, though she eases up once she makes it to the stairs and climbs all the way down to the lobby level. Now only fifty feet from the hotel’s exit, Sunny walks through the lobby with a confident smile on her face, assuming her journey to the facility would be smooth sailing from here on out.

“Hm? What’s a little kid like you doing here this late at night? Are you lost?” a female concierge at the front desk asks her.

Sunny stops in her tracks and a slight blush forms on her face in response to the sudden question. As much as she wanted to express her anger at the fact that yet another adult had referred to her as a little kid, she had to swallow her pride just this once; an angry and childish outburst probably wouldn’t convince this concierge that she wasn’t just some lost and naive little kid, so playing it cool was crucial.

“No, miss, I’m not lost.” Sunny replies, using all of her restraint and willpower to keep her composure. “I’m…uh… just heading outside to look at the stars cause my parents are letting me stay up late.”

Once again, a tense silence fills the air as Sunny stares at the concierge; while she looked composed on the surface, deep down she was extremely nervous at the prospect of her white lie backfiring on her.

“Oh, my apologies then.” the concierge says to her.

Sunny exhales a sigh of relief the moment she steps outside, though she was well aware that getting out of the hotel was only the first step in getting Cotton back. After a five minute walk, she reaches the facility and steps to the entrance, but not before surveying her surroundings and checking for the presence of other people. Fortunately, the streets were rather empty at night, so the coast seemed to be clear. She then reaches for the door and rotates the knob, though she’s genuinely surprised that the door had been left completely unlocked.

“Ha! For a high tech house full of robots, the security sure sucks! she says to herself with a cocky smile. “This search will be a piece of cake!”

Sunny starts by looking around the living room, searching around the floor and opening each drawer and cupboard scattered around the living room and kitchen. However, all of that searching didn’t amount to anything.

“Hm…then Cotton must be in the nursery.” she says.

Sunny steps inside the expansive nursery and looks around the area, causing her to eventually spot a large pile of dolls and stuffed animals in the corner. She rushes over to the pile and starts rummaging through its contents, tossing other dolls and stuffed toys to the side before finally finding her beloved rabbit plushie.

“Cotton! I’m so glad I found you!” Sunny hugs her plushie tightly and a joyful smile appears on her face; they were only separated for a few hours, but for Sunny it may as well have been an eternity. “Now let’s get you back to the ho-

Clank! Clank! Stomp! Stomp!

Suddenly, the sounds of footsteps echo throughout the house, causing Sunny to tense up and freeze in place. However, the footsteps didn’t sound like they were coming from a human, as they sounded more like metal loudly clanking on the floor.

“Huh? What’s that sound?” Sunny says to herself as she hugs her plushie tighter and tentatively looks from behind, eyeing a robot with big red irises on their eyes and a fabricated head of metallic silver hair coming around the corner; additionally, the rest of their body structure replicated the appearance of a maid outfit, indicating they were some kind of maintenance robot.

She breaks into a nervous sweat and hastily looks around her surroundings, knowing she’d need to do some quick thinking to save herself from getting caught.

“Aha! I know!” Sunny quickly jumps into the pile of toys and sits next to the life-sized dolls, figuring she’d try to blend in with her surroundings.

The maid-like robot walks over to the toy pile and begins inspecting it, checking for any toys that need to be cleaned or refurbished.

“Defective doll detected.” the robot says a few moments later, suddenly locking eyes with Sunny.

“What? I’m not even a do-

Before Sunny can finish her sentence, the robot reaches into the pile and picks her up, taking the girl to some kind of funnel shaped machine.

“Hey! I’m not a doll! Put me down!” Sunny says in an agitated tone as she fidgets and squirms.

The robot completely ignores Sunny commands and continues walking to the machine, causing the girl to become even more annoyed and frustrated.

“Hello??? Are you even listening to me? I said put me down!” Sunny yells.

Unfortunately, the robot continues to ignore Sunny’s commands and tosses her into the funnel. Several seconds pass as she spins around and heads closer to the funnel’s opening, though it’s not long before she falls through the hole and promptly pops out of the machine.

“Huh? What was that all about?” she says before standing back up.

Crinkle! Crinkle!

Sunny gasps and quickly realizes that her attire had completely changed; in addition to her shirt and skirt being replaced with a frilly pink dress and a large pink bow on her head, a disposable diaper was snugly secured around her bottom.

“Why am I dressed like this? How many times do I have to tell you that I’m not a doll?” Sunny groans and tries to take off the dress and diaper, but her efforts are futile, as the clothes are essentially glued onto her.

Sunny pouts and blushes after failing to get the clothes off, quite embarrassed to be put in such childish attire. However, she had gotten what she came for at the end of the day, so she couldn’t be that upset about it.

“Whatever, at least I got Cotton back.” Sunny says as she picks the plushie back up. “Now then, I’m getting out of here.”

While Sunny makes her way to the nursery’s exit, her diaper loudly rustles and crinkles with every step she takes, almost as if to remind her of the bizarre and infantile predicament she had gotten herself into. However, before she can leave the nursery, Sunny feels a hand grabbing her by her diapered butt and forcefully yanking her backwards; a few moments later, she finds herself much farther away from the nursery’s exit and into the arms of that same maid-like robot from before.

“Ugh, what now? Let me go, you stupid hunk of scrap metal!” she yells.

Unfortunately, the robot didn’t take too kindly to such remarks; the wide smile on its face abruptly shifted into an angry glare and its eyes flashed a darker shade of red.

“Naughty dolly. Naughty dolly. Naughty dolly.” the robot repeats while they walk over to a rocking chair in another corner of the room, sitting down on it and resting Sunny on their knees.

“Oh, so NOW you decide to listen to me, huh?” Sunny says with an annoyed roll of her eyes. “How about you listen to me when I say that I’m not a do-

SMACK!

The robot swiftly spanks Sunny’s diapered tush, causing her to yelp in surprise; the soft and cushiony diaper greatly mitigated the pain, but it didn’t make things any less embarrassing for her.

“Hey! What’s your prob-

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

Sunny is cut off once again as she receives a series of spanks to her padded tush, causing her to slightly wince and recoil in response to each slap. It’s only after a few more spanks that the robot finally decides to act merciful and puts Sunny back down.

“Are you done now?” she says with a groan while she rubs her thoroughly spanked bottom. “Now if you’ll excuse me, Cotton and I are getting out of here.”

Sunny makes yet another attempt to escape the nursery, though her steps are more cautious this time around as remains alert to the prospect of another machine unexpectedly grabbing her. With every step she takes, Sunny looks from side to side in anticipation, though she’d quickly find out that no amount of forward thinking could prepare her against the buggy and wonky machinery of this automated house; a pair of grabby hands suddenly drops down from the ceiling, latching onto Sunny’s arms and pinning her to the floor.

“Huh? What are these things?” Sunny says as she tries to squirm out of their grasp. “Ugh! Let go of me!”

While one hand keeps her pinned down, the other hand starts tickling her belly, causing her to burst into giggles.

“Hehehe…stop…hehehe…doing that!” Sunny fidgets and kicks her feet.

As the onslaught of tickling continues, Sunny feels a sharp and sudden pressure in her bladder; as much as she didn’t want to use her diaper, she didn’t exactly have a say in the matter.

“Stop…hehehe….you’re gonna make me-

PSSSSSSSH!!!

The tickling proves to be too much for Sunny to handle and her bladder reflexively releases itself, causing her diaper to swell up and stain yellow as it thirstily absorbs the contents of her bladder. Eventually, the grabby hands release her and she finally steps out of the nursery, though she certainly didn’t like the fact that she was now standing around in a thoroughly soaked diaper.

“Stupid grabby hands…” Sunny says with a pout and a blush, though she wasn’t going to let a soggy diaper make her lose sight of her objective. “Whatever, I just need to get past the living room and I’m finally out of here.”

Unfortunately, Sunny’s share of obstacles went beyond just the nursery. As she steps back into the living room, she encounters another maid-like robot cleaning the floors with a large vacuum.

“Of course now is the time the robots decide to do housework. Just my luck…” Sunny says with a roll of her eyes, but she knows that now is not the time to lose hope.

She tries sneaking around the cleaning robot, though her soaked and saggy diaper forces her into a rather awkward and infantile waddle as it sloshes and sways between her legs. In spite of this additional layer of embarrassment, Sunny can’t help but feel optimistic as she slowly inches her way to the exit, though she unfortunately wasn’t in the clear just yet.

“Detecting strong presence of dust.” the robot abruptly turns around and stares at Sunny.

Before she can even retort with some kind of witty response, Sunny is immediately sucked up by the large vacuum and transported into a cramped up space full of dust and other dirty particles.

“Come on! Let me out of this stupid thing!” Sunny kicks at the enclosed space with the limited leg room she has, but she quickly realizes such efforts are ineffective. “Grrr….first these robots think I’m a doll, now they think I’m a dust particle! Why can’t these stupid machines make up their minds?”

With nothing else to do, Sunny hugs her stuffed bunny with a grumpy pout on her face, figuring she’d just have to wait for the vacuum to eventually spit her out. Several minutes fly by as she remains trapped in the dirty and dusty confines of the vacuum’s interior, though another problem soon arises when Sunny feels a certain pressure forming in her bowels.

“No! With all the stupid stuff I’ve already gone through in this place, there’s no way I’m pooping myself…” Sunny says to herself.

However, as more and more time passes, Sunny wasn’t all that convinced she’d be able to keep that promise; the pressure in her bowels intensifies with each passing minute, causing her to fidget and squirm.

“Nggh…come on…get me out of here…” Sunny groans and clutches at the back of her diaper as she desperately tries to hold it in for longer.

After what feels like forever, the vacuum finally spits her out and she’s back to the living room.

“Phew, I thought I was gonna be stuck in there for the rest of my life…” Sunny says while she dusts herself off. “Alright, now it’s finally time to get out of he-

PFFFFFT!! BLAAAAART!!!

She suddenly lets out a series of loud and squishy farts, indicating that her bowels had now reached their limit.

“Nooooo…..I’m not gonna…”

FRRRRRT! BLOOOORT!! BRAAAAAAP!!!

More loud farts erupt from Sunny’s bowels and she starts to tense up; as much as she didn’t want to use her diaper for the second time, she simply couldn’t hold it in for any longer.

“Ngh…I really have to pooooop!” she bends her knees and sticks her bottom out as she gets into a squat, clutching her plushie tightly as she prepares to do the deed.

“Mmmmmmph!”

PBLOOOOORP!!!

A large and stinky mass pushes its way into Sunny’s diaper, causing it to droop down to her knees as a noticeable bulge protrudes from the back. Once she finishes filling her diaper, a scarlet red blush appears on Sunny’s face; although the intense pressure in her bowels was finally gone, she was still extremely embarrassed at the fact that she just pooped her pants like a baby.

“Eww…that was so disgusting…” Sunny cringes and plugs her nose, disgusted by the smell of her own excrement. “Luckily I don’t have to do that ever again, cause now I’ve got a straight shot to the ex-

“Detecting dirty diaper…” says a robotic voice coming from the nursery.

Upon hearing this, Sunny makes a mad dash for the exit, though the big load in her diaper greatly compromises her mobility and causes her to fall flat on her face.

“Come onnnn, just a few steps away…” Sunny groans and gets back on her feet, but in the time it took her to stand back up, the other robot had already caught up.

“Presence of dirty diaper nearby…” the robot grabs the back of Sunny’s diaper and pulls it open, quickly spotting the smelly mess lurking inside of it. “Presence of dirty diaper confirmed.” they say before picking Sunny up and walking her back to the nursery.

“If you stupid robots want to be useful for once, then how about how you get me out of this disgusting diaper.” Sunny says with an annoyed glare.

However, rather than taking her to the changing table, the robot walks her to a large chute bearing the proper label of “Diaper Disposal Chute”.

“Hey! Why are you taking me to a disposal chute? Sunny says with an agitated scowl. “I’m not a diaper, you- WOAH!”

Before Sunny can fully explain herself, the robot tosses her into the disposal chute and she bumps and slides her way down before plopping onto a large conveyor belt. As she slowly moves along the conveyor belt, an agitated scowl remains on Sunny’s face; not only was it annoying and embarrassing to be sitting in a dirty diaper, but it was even more annoying to be treated and disposed of as such. A few moments later, the conveyor belt comes to a stop and two pairs of mechanical hands drop down from the ceiling.

Squish! Squish! SMOOOOSH!!!

One pair of hands lifts her up and the other pair starts poking and prodding at Sunny’s diapered butt, as if they were analyzing how full her diaper was. With each poke of her soggy and stinky diaper, Sunny’s poopy mess loudly smooshes and spreads around her bottom, causing the girl to cringe and recoil. Once the initial inspection is done, one of the hands stamps a biohazard symbol on the back of Sunny’s diaper, indicating that it was quite stinky.

“Hey! What was that all about?” Sunny pouts as she is set back down, though she’d never get the answer to such a question.

The conveyor belt starts moving again and Sunny encounters another duo of mechanical hands, presumably there to perform another inspection of her full diaper.

“Come on! I already go- HEY!” Sunny is cut off as she is lifted up again.

SMOOOOOSH!!

The hands poke and squeeze at Sunny’s packed diaper some more, eventually coming to the conclusion that her diaper was filled to full capacity.

“Dirty diaper confirmed to be at full capacity. Confirmed to be too stinky for recycling.” says an automated voice coming from one of the speakers.

“Shut up! I’m not even that stink- mmmph!”

A large “REJECTED” sticker is stamped over Sunny’s mouth and the mechanical hands move her over to some kind of bagging machine. They then stuff her into a garbage bag and toss her into another chute, leading her to a storage room full of trash bags and dirty diapers. Sunny fidgets and thrashes in the bag, frustrated at her greatly restricted movement, though she had enough room to rip the sticker off her mouth at the very least.

“Ugggggh! I was so close! I’d be out of this stupid place by now if I didn’t trip at the exit!” Sunny pouts and continues thrashing about, greatly upset at her current situation.

After all of that squirming and thrashing, Sunny sighs and looks down at Cotton; in spite of the bizarre chain of events that had transpired, it was relieving to know that her cherished rabbit plushie ended up unscathed.

“At least you’re still safe, Cotton.” Sunny cracks a smile and hugs her tightly.

As more time passes, Sunny yawns and her eyelids grow heavy, absolutely exhausted from everything she had gone through.

“Well….even if I’m stuck In a trash bag, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try and get some sleep.” Sunny then closes her eyes and falls fast asleep; even when she was stuck in a dirty diaper and trapped in a garbage bag, with her plushie companion by her side, Sunny could sleep through just about anything.

While Sunny manages to get some  solid hours of shut-eye, a bearded man in blue jeans and a light blue collared shirt steps into the storage room; not even the creators of this high tech house could be bothered to build assistant robots for this smelly garbage heap of a storage room, so they instead resorted to human labor for cleaning up this place.

“Someone’s here? This could be my chance to escape!” Sunny says to herself while she abruptly opens her eyes in response to the sound of footsteps, a wide smile appearing on her face at the prospect of being set free. “Hey! Whoever’s in there, could you get me out of here?” she says out loud.

The bearded man stops and rapidly blinks his eyes in response, absolutely flabbergasted at the sound of Sunny’s voice.

“What the heck? Someone’s here?” he slowly walks over to the trash bin and grabs the bag with Sunny inside of it, plopping it onto the floor and opening it up. “Huh? What are you doing here? A kid like you shouldn’t be in this place.”

“Well maybe if you don’t want kids sneaking around this place, you should put some locks on your doors! Besides, it was those stupid robots that put me here and dressed me like this!” Sunny retorts.

“Look, I don’t run the place, I’m just the garbage man.” he replies with a shrug. “Anyway, how about I get you out of here.”

“Ok!” Sunny says as her annoyance fades away.

When the man then opens up the door and walks her outside, a wide smile appears on Sunny’s face; with all that she had gone through, she thought she’d never see the light of day again, so even the simple sights of the outdoors filled her eyes with ecstatic joy.

“Thank you, mister!” Sunny says to him while waving goodbye.

“No problem, but how about you don’t go sneaking into places like this one ever again, ok? Little kids like you should be with their parents.” the bearded man says.

The girl couldn’t even be upset at the man for calling her a little kid, as she was far too grateful to be bothered by such things. Maintaining the wide smile on her face, Sunny starts making her way back to the hotel; she wasn’t even remotely concerned about the fact that she was still wearing a doll outfit, nor was she concerned about the stinky diaper sagging and dropping between her legs. In fact, not even the inevitable scolding from her parents fazed her in any way, for the only thing that mattered to her was being free from the facility and being reunited with her most prized possession.

“Oh, Cotton, I promise I’ll never lose you again!” Sunny says to the rabbit plushie, hugging it tighter than ever. “I don’t care if people think it’s childish, cause I’m not letting anything separate us!”

Now free from the confines of the high tech facility, Sunny had not developed a stronger bond with their stuffed animal, but now she had learned to not be so concerned about being perceived as a big kid.
