One of Rouge's favorite pastimes was trying to see if she could sneak past the Master Emerald's guardian, the ever vigilant Knuckles the Echidna, and admire its glimmering, glowing form as she fantasized ways she could seize it as her own. After all, even Knuckles had to take a break sometimes, right? And stealth was her specialty.

So she sneaks over from the opposite end of where he's sitting, steps close to the emerald, reaches a hand out for her to touch it...only to suddenly feel a looming presence behind her...funny, the G.U.N. files mentioned an orange echidna girl from the Perfect Chaos incident...but there was never any record of her being so...big...was she getting bigger?

Meanwhile, Knuckles just opens his eyes and gives a smug smirk. True, it was odd Tikal returned, and even odder that she started growing into a giantess...but hey, if this meant he could safely get some shuteye from now on, Knuckles wouldn't pass up the opportunity.
