A creatures fell from the sky, born in the hostile Otherworld version of outer space. It sat dormant, waiting for enough biomass to unwittingly fall victim to it. Once it had the materials sufficient to manifest a physical body, its hunger was let loose on Monumendo...

The Scarathea (or Scar), are a parasitc race on Monumendo who originated from Otherworld. Instead of existing in harmony with mortal creatures like Nether Dragons do, they consume creatures whole to create physical shells for themselves.
