Reporting here from 2024, Steam has actually gotten pretty scummy now and isn't really a great option. A better option would be itch.io. You can lock your game behind a paywall if you really want, and it doesn't require a desktop client in order to work.

No joke, I'd play the hell out of a NSFW game with a story based on the premise of the Samurai Jack revival. I always find myself getting weirdly engrossed in the stories of these types of games when they go all out.
