This comic have a dangerous level of wholesome, my poor cheeks are really feeling the tension of overuse of smiling, and I wouldn't have it any other way ^v^

This is exactly what we've all been secretly waiting for - all that's missing now is some funny remark or action from Nora to prevent us all from getting diabetes.
Wonderful comic.

I love these two so much, like...yeah, I love the size difference and everything, but these two, by themselves, are so incredibly wholesome and it's one of those times where it's like, "I love these two so much, if anything were to happen to them I would want to kill whoever hurt them." Then again, I think the Butcher would do a good enough job at that.

There are different kinds of surviving. You have fighting for your life for example, but also just going through the motions, doing what you know only because that's is what you know and it provides some necessities (food, shelter etc.). In that last situation there is very little room (if any) for hopes and dreams and a person in that situation often feels stuck in some way or other.
The difference between Nora for most of this tale and the final panel of this specific comic is the difference between someone in that position and someone who suddenly sees a future, a chance of actually living instead of just surviving. And it's subtly but beautifully portrayed in the art. Even without the tears that would be obvious. I cannot put into words how much I love that last panel.
And this is coming from an ace, but surely I'm not the only one who feels Nora looks so much more natural and attractive in this dress that that stupid thing she had to wear during work? Clearly, this is clothing she feels comfortable in and it shows.
Also, this means that Nora doesn't even own shoes...

While I do like this comic, I just don't quite get the motivation of Nora to just drop everything to go to him. I feel like there were a few (boring) pages where he would confirm that she did still want to leave, and to leave with him... but they were cut because no one can draw everything. Again, I do like the comic, but from when The Butcher came back, the story feels rushed- "A", no "A+" from me, hmf!~

PROBABLY because he has been the ONLY ONE to show ANY INTEREST in HER as opposed to just a warm hole to screw and forget.
Her "everything" was being a forced prostitute, without anywhere to turn. Even her own father used her (for money).
Mr The Butcher/Christopher showed he cared about HER. She is still having trouble adjusting to the idea that she is more than a walking sex toy for him.
While I would have liked to see some scenes of the two thinking about each other while separated, this is DEFINATELY excellent.

Just from what I've seen, I have to quote a character from a game I played eons ago. "It is said that no man should be sent to a battlefield without a good woman to come home to. And no good woman should send her man to the battlefield without letting him know what he's fighting for."

After reading this and other comics by you, not only do I now think Nora ties Sapphira for best character, but if some company could hire Zummeng to assist in making animated versions of these stories, that'd be great.
