A long, long time ago, the king of Galar was slowly dying from a terrible disease. His son, the young prince, was to prepare himself for his ascencion to the throne. However, rumors were spreading in the castle. Many lords seemed to see him as too weak and too immature for the job. Chances were that his rule would never be reckognized. The stability of the region was at stake. And so, the young prince departed on a quest.
He ventured through days and nights in the land of Galar, in search of a pokémon he heard about in the legends. One who, if he joined him, would make his reign unquestioned. Eventually, in the northern forests, he would meet him : Calyrex, the legendary High King. The young prince and his pokémons led a rough battle and, thanks to his bravery, Calyrex was caught. When he returned and became king, none dare to oppose him. What history books don't say though, is that the legendary pokémon was actually turned into the queen of Galar, to rule by the king's side throughout his entire life.
